Emily Shupe is an ambitious and driven filmmaker based in Chicago, IL. Originally from New Hampshire, she has loved the art of storytelling since she was a kid. Her creative journey has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of life thus far. She believes filmmaking is a privilege and should be used to send important messages, motivating her to change the world through storytelling.

Emily is in her senior year at DePaul University working towards her BFA in Film & Television. She has explored various roles within filmmaking, including directing, art department, and cinematography; but the role of 1st Assistant Director calls her name most often. Emily has a natural draw to leadership and organization which has propelled her success on dozens of projects. She looks forward to collaborating with fellow creative minds to continue using cinema to promote change.
